There is a special format for weddings in various regions and villages of Azerbaijan referred to as “in tents” (“palatka toy”). Underground musicians are usually brought to these celebrations, and through these parties, they become the local celebrities of the Azeri communities. The design of their compact discs employs blatant kitsch. By incorporating the covers of their CDs with a different visual background, I wanted to rehabilitate these musicians into a more aesthetically modern environment.
