Wounds

Jaber Alazmeh is a Syrian artist based in Damascus. He started his photographic career started in 1998, after having worked mainly with music and painting. Wounds is his most recent work.

“Motivated by love, anger, sadness, pain, hope, friends and homeland, I work on Wounds where I find myself committed to the colors of blood and death. The shots reflect what is happening on the ground in Syria, in particular incidents, massacres, street slogans, or on universal values and concepts to which people around the world commonly aspire.”
