Waltz with Zeynep Tanbay

Dancer and choreographer Zeynep Tanbay is the director of the Modern Dance Company ZTDP (Zeynep Tanbay Dans Projesi) in Istanbul. ZTDP is the sole modern dance ensemble in Turkey and has performed in various countries like Spain, Holland, Israel and China. Their work truly deserves being discovered on stages all over the world.

Having spent 16 years in the USA, learning, performing and teaching with the Martha Graham Dance Company, Alvin Ailey and Paul Taylor Dance School, Tanbay has returned to Turkey in order to implement a pioneering modern dance project. Since 2006, she has choreographed three shows in Turkey: 4 Legs, Vivaldi-Stravinsky and Araz.
